Privacy Policy
InstaDMe is an Instagram automation tool operated by The Atom Studio that sends automatic direct messages in response to comments on connected Instagram accounts. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how you can control or delete it.
Who we are
InstaDMe is a product of The Atom Studio. You can reach us at hello@theatom.lk. This service is accessible at instadme.theatom.lk.
Information we collect
- Instagram account data. When you connect an Instagram Professional account, we receive your account ID, username, and an access token issued by Meta so we can act on your behalf.
- Comment & message events.Through Meta's webhooks we receive comments made on your posts and reels (the comment text, comment ID, and the commenter's Instagram ID and username) so we can trigger the automations you configure.
- Automation settings. The keywords and message templates you set up inside InstaDMe.
How we use your information
We use this data solely to operate the automation you configure — matching keywords in comments and sending the direct-message replies you have set up. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data sharing
We share data only with Meta Platforms (to send messages via the Instagram Graph API) and with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run the service (such as our hosting provider). We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your account and automation data only while your account is connected. You can disconnect at any time by removing InstaDMe from your Instagram settings, or request full deletion via our data deletion instructions.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@theatom.lk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
